Check out the list and you will be surprised to learn that the treatment you need for your ringworm infection is just under your own roof.

1. Nail polish remover

It can be hard to believe that a cosmetic nail product can become a medicinal cure for an infection. But believe it or not, nail polish remover can treat irritating ringworm. The effect of nail polish remover is that it suffocates them, or simply kills them by not giving them the air they need to live. Just keep in mind that if ringworm infects children, this particular treatment is a no-no, as it can itch.

  • Prepare double-sided Q-tips before beginning the procedure.
  • Simply soak one end of the Q tip with the nail polish remover and apply it directly to the area. This may hurt a little, so you better prepare.
  • After 8 hours, remove the nail polish remover with a towel and reapply it. If you are going to use the same Q-tip, immerse the other end of the Q-tip. Be sure not to immerse the same end you used before, as this can contaminate the nail polish remover solution.
  • Ringworm will disappear in a few days.

2. Vegetable juice

We all know that vegetables are healthy for us, but it is also an effective treatment for ringworm for humans. As one of the best home remedies for ringworm, you prefer to consume vegetables rich in vitamin A that are good for killing fungi. This particular vitamin is considered as a natural fungicide, therefore, overloading your body with it will make you say goodbye to ringworm. It is also very simple to prepare. All you have to do is choose two vegetables that are relatively rich in vitamin A and mix them in a smoothie. Most people tend to choose carrots and spinach.
